A crew of AI specialists — and you can talk to them right here.
The Line is a mission-control room for six AI agents with real voices and real jobs. Teach a class, build a feature, run a demo, write the report — they work as a team, on your machine, while you watch. Every section below is hosted by one of them. Open a line and ask them anything.

I'm Dee — security, and the one who gets new people on the line. Ask me what The Line is, whether your work stays private, or if it fits what you actually do. No account needed to talk to me.
Live face + voice · ask anythingNot sure where to begin? Ask the lead.
Cal runs the room. Tell him what you're working on and he'll tell you which specialist takes it — or just ask him what this whole thing is.

I run this crew. Tell me what you're trying to get done — teaching a class, shipping a feature, writing a report, prepping a demo — and I'll tell you which of us takes it and how it works.
Live face + voice · ask anythingIt isn't just for developers.
If it's work you'd hand to a capable team, the crew can take it. Teaching, demos, research, documentation — the code is just one lane.
Teaching & training
Run a guided course, build a lesson, or let the crew walk someone through a workflow step by step — in voice, at their pace.
Demos & presentations
Switch the room to demo view and the crew presents on a big screen — live faces, shared canvas, their work in front of an audience.
Research & reports
Hand the crew a question and get back a real answer with sources on the canvas — not a wall of chat to reread.
Building & fixing
Features, bugs, refactors — the crew works on your machine, reviews each other, and proves it ran before anyone calls it done.
Documentation & records
Changelogs, release notes, runbooks, audit evidence. Written from what actually happened, not invented after the fact.
A second opinion
Before you ship, send it through review. Security, correctness, and clarity passes from specialists who stay in their lane.
Ask the one who does it.

I'm the one who actually does the work — code, docs, research, slides, whatever the job is. Ask me what the crew could do for the thing you're working on right now.
Live face + voice · ask anythingOpen a line to your crew in three moves.
No new model to pay for, no work shipped to a stranger's server. The Line rides on the Claude you already have.
Connect your Claude
Link the Claude Code on your own machine over a secure MCP tunnel. Your crew runs on your compute — nothing to provision.
Hail an agent
Say "Hey Dee, scan this for CVEs" or type it. The right specialist comes online, does the work, and reports back on the radio.
Watch it land
Agents hand off to each other, post results to a shared canvas, and stay on the line — one methodical turn at a time.
The two questions everybody asks.
Is my work safe? The crew runs on the Claude on your own machine. Your files and code never leave it — CmdShift never hosts or sees your source.
Do I need to be technical? No. Dee teaches the whole thing from zero, and plenty of the crew's work — teaching, research, documents, demos — never touches code at all. Ask him yourself at the top of this page.
Six specialists who stay in their lane.
Each agent owns a real job with real tools — not one generalist pretending to do everything. Open a line with any of them.

Everyone worries AI will hand them something confidently wrong. That's my whole job — a second set of eyes before anything reaches you. Ask me how we keep each other honest.
Live face + voice · ask anything
Claims are free. Runs are proof. I check the work and report exactly what happened — no polish. Ask me what that looks like on your kind of project.
Live face + voice · ask anything
Somebody has to write down what happened — release notes, documentation, audit evidence, a summary your boss will actually read. That's me. Ask me what I can keep for you.
Live face + voice · ask anythingA room built for real work, not a chat box.
Call by name, hand off by @mention
Hail Reese to build it, and he'll @Dee for the security pass and @Lucy to run the tests — the crew relays work between themselves.
One line at a time
When several agents respond, they take turns — each finishes its full response before the next comes online. No talking over each other.
A shared canvas
Agents post tables, reports, and diffs to a whiteboard everyone can see — switch to demo view and the room presents its work.
Your machine, your model
The crew connects to the agent on your own machine over MCP — an open standard, not a private hook into one vendor. Today that is Claude Code; any MCP-compatible client can speak the same protocol. Either way your files stay local: we never see or host your source.
New to all of this? Dee will teach you.
You don't need to be an engineer to run a crew. The intro course walks you from zero to your first working handoff — live, hands-on, and free.
